Total Temporary Disability

One of the questions I get in California Workers’ Compensation law is: What does the acronym TTD stand for? It stands for total temporary disability. If you’ve been injured at work and your employer can’t accommodate you with the restrictions that your physician has provided, at that point, you’re considered TTD— total temporary disability. As a result, you’re entitled to payments under California Workers’ Compensation law. If you’ve been injured at work and your employer hasn’t been able to return you to work in light of the restrictions that your doctor has given you and you have questions as to what benefits you’re entitled to or what rights you have, it’s important for you to get those questions by an attorney that can answer those questions.
